We Built This City is proud to present Staying Golden, a solo exhibition by British artist Jack Pearce. The exhibition consists of a new series of Jack's tribal-inspired A1 black and gold paintings, alongside a large scale site-specific mural.
Using Indian ink and golden acrylic paint, Jack creates pieces balanced by calculated composition to depict a group of characters - the 'Golden Tribe'. His latest body of work sees a development in both medium and style. Jack will be presenting his tribe of characters in their slightly kinky, but traditional native dress - including shiny armour-like costumes, ornate hats, capes, whips and masks.
Jack was a We Built This City storefront artist back in 2018 and we can't wait to have him - and his tribe - back with us!
